I installed the game on another of my computers and did not have this issue at all so it seems to be tied specifically to this one computer, not my Steam account. I even rolled back to a previous version and it actually did the same thing (launcher shows correct checksum but totally different when game starts). I've tried verifying the game cache, reinstalling, deleting my settings, disabling DLC, etc. What's even more strange to me is that the game launcher shows the correct version (BTOF) but when I start the game it's always XOFD. Every single time I start/restart the game, my checksum is XOFD (never different from XOFD) which doesn't match any previous version. I tried verifying the integrity of the game cache. I have deleted all my other modsand unsubscribedfrom the steam workshop to prevent them from being re downloaded. However, I seem to be getting the checksum of BPAH instead of EXVVwhich is the mod + india. I bought Way of Life the other day and tried to play it with a friend of mine but for some reason my checksum never matches the correct one for the current version. I downloaded version4.06.1aof the mod for my current CK2 version 2.7.1.
